Can anybody use the campground ramp this time of year ?
Like to pre-fish a little :o Last year all kinds of information this year secrets
-
Probably not enough water until they put the boards in. Anyone live close by? recon?
-
I can take a look. I live right nearby.
-
Thanks Chef!

The water is too low currently, but as we move into April the boards should be put in. Snow won't be an issue this year but since there is little run off from snow we'll be hoping for some rain.

Hey who is this guy posting on the forums? It's about time we get a little forum talk from our tournament director! He must of been busy going over how he is going to beat us all ;)

I'll try to post some pictures later today, been working like crazy this week.

Hey Ryan! Yeah Slowly getting back into the mix.......its that new job, and two little children type of thing. I think we're on the right track. Looking forward to a trip to BPS and NB this weekend to get some line and maybe a new rod that will be needed for BIP ;D

Mr. Director, do tell what style rod to be purchased and used on BIP or are your lips sealed :-X
-
Well sir this will be a rod (after completing my inventory I decided I'll be purchasing 2 exactly the same) that I will use more than half the time certainly at the first tourney and has a crazy blueish or turquoise finish 8) (that almost makes me not want it) but after many reviews have decided I would give them a try. I'll show you when I see you
-
sealed indeed!
-
St croix legend drop shot rod :)
-
lol..........spring fo me means heavy line and power fishin bro. give me a call sometime 603-261-0506

Hahaha anyone who knows Marc knows the fishing is pretty slow when you see him with a spinning rod.
I think you have Marc confused with me I've been throwing drop shot almost exclusively this spring only been out a handful or so hours though.
-
At least you've been out......my gear is ready, but I need to get the boat ready. In all sincerity, I do plan on using the drop shot more in 2012. :o ........but whenever possible I like my jig and skippin rod.

Man my wallet would be so much better off if that were the case.

Marc - I hear ya on power fishing! Though I want to work on fishing deep water this year at some point. Now that I have decent electronics, hopefully I can put it to use and learn how to read it.
I will definitely give ya call soon!

Well I stopped by BIP last night and checked out the Damn. The boards are in but the water is still (as it always is in March) way too low to put boats in. I talked to the gentleman in charge of the ramp and he said it's still about 4' low and was coming up a little less than an inch per day. So all we need is a few good down poors and everything will be back on track. Get those Beans buddies and drop shot rods ready :-X he he heee
