Lets hope the weather stabalizes a bit so the spring open doesn't end up being post spawn. we need lots of rain this spring to make up for the lack of snow.

Where I fished Thur. the water temp was 64 degrees, and all fish came from less than 4', I think they have one thing on their mind ;)

I'm over in central Ma, but I saw the same water temps and fish were as of Thursday all <4' the 5.3 I got would of been 4+ any other time of year she was a fatty.  These cool temps and little rain tomorrow should back them off a bit.  The long range shows 40s and 50s the next 15 or so days with cold nights.  Things should stabilize a bit, but if we get another warmup like we had it will be right back on.  Time will tell, winni temps are still in the 40s so the open may be prime time for some big ole' sacks  :o
