Title: Nashua River today
Post by: Chris Hoffman on April 19, 2012, 10:14:43 PM
I was on the river today, breaking in my motor and then later in the day I wetted a line.  Man! there was a ton of 3-5 lbs hawgs cruising shallow and then later in the day i sas a handful of fish starting beds.

I can't believe how many good sized hawgs I spotted!  I had a pretty good day netted about 8 fish and landed a 4 lbs fish.  The water temp on the river was 63-65 degrees.

Yea from what I saw Monday I knew there would be good numbers moving up by the end of this week.  Mel and I spent about 10 minutes watching what looked like a 4 and couple 3s way in the back of a certain backwater working a school of perch over it was incredible to watch.
