Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate the kind words.  I have to really give credit to both of my boaters for how generous and easy going they were.  They were both class acts.

Rich Metivier lent me 2 bags of Yamamoto's (and didn't have too) because somehow and I stress SOMEHOW I forgot my spider grubs (which seems impossible considering I throw them 40% of the time) but I did and he made me feel comfortable borrowing as many as I needed.

Kevin Miller was also a super nice guy.  He reached into his rod locker and offered a second drop shot rod for me to use because I didn't bring mine.  The reason I didn't bring mine was because of how good the spider bite was the day before and I thought about changing my strategy due to the cold front that was moving in that night.  I really thought the large bite was going to pick up from day 1 so I wanted to be prepared.

The smallies started to lay off the grub bite and seemed to only want a drop shot. I find this to be the case when the bite is tough.  I think they aren't usually directly on the bottom so when the bite is good, they will follow a grub to the bottom and eat.  But when it's tough, they don't seem to want to go far for a meal so the drop shot was the play on day 2.

But again, I can't thank them enough for how they handled themselves.  If every person treated each other like this in the STQT's, we would have a lot more participation. There's a real good chance that I wouldn't have made the team if they weren't BOTH so generous.

Too bad these guys didn't join our club... not that we don't already have some amazing guys in the club!  That is amazing to hear that both Rich and Kevin were so generous!  It is nice to hear stories like this and know that there are still good people out there willing to help out!

Joe - you forgetting your spiders... wow!  Great Job making the team!
