Tracy poses a good question. If I could make a suggestion?

I think we should have registration at the state ramp parking lot.  It may make the morning run smoother and this way we don't bother people at the cozy cottages.  It will also keep us from having to go into little squam and then back out to the main lake.  But whatever the tournament director decides is fine with me  :P

I was kind of hoping it would be at the state ramp, but was not sure if this was allowed or not.  It makes sense to me though to do it there.

Marc and I talked about morning registration.  As Joe said, we will be registering at the state ramp so that we don't have any issues with disturbing the people at the Cottage Place.  The morning meeting will be held just outside the markers where the river goes in to Big Squam.  We will not have any problem at the state ramp at this time of year.  We will still be weighing in at the Cottage Place.  The cost will be $15.00 per boat.  I spoke with Gabe at Fish and Game, and he told me Dick Smith was looking in to some alternate weigh in sites on Squam for next year.  Unfortunately, The woman at Cottage Place is still charging the same amount for the use of her beach.  There are a couple sites Gabe and I talked about, and hopefully we will have that figured out for next year.  All fish will need to be released back in Big Squam before returning to the state launch.  Little Squam will be off limits for fishing.  Please respect this rule so we don't have any issues with Fish and Game.

Just a thought on the registration at the state ramp. Pay first and then launch because there are only a few places to park your boat at the launch and if your boat is in the way no one else can launch. Pay launch and head out to big squam, Keep things moving.

Yes Pete, that is how we need to keep ting moving.  Once you register, you launch and move out to the morning meeting location.  The limited spots at the ramp will be taken up by Ryan, Marc, and myself.

Alright Scott, let me know.  I know Bobby L was thinking about jumping in my boat because he recently had a knee operation. But Im sure one of our other guys wouldn't have a problem with you jumping in with them.  Bob also told me that he wasn't a 100%  sure he was going to be able to go.  So if he cant make it and your feeling up to it, you're still welcome to hop in my boat.  Hopefully we'll see you there regardless.
