End of year meeting for Bass Hunters
« on: October 07, 2012, 08:49:20 PM »
To all,

I have the lake permit requests from Fish & Game.  They have to be in by the end of October, so please attend the meeting if you want to vote on the lakes.

We will be having our meeting on Monday, October 15th, at 6:30 pm at the Alley Kat Grille at Park Place Lanes in Winham, NH.  We will be picking lakes for next year, discussing Federation Dues, and any other club business that needs to be taken are of.  If you are planning on joining the Federation, or staying Federated, please show up to support the club.

Hey Regg, is this something new with F&G this year?? I haven't received any notices about permits needing to be in for the New Hampshire Bass Federation by the end of Oct?? Last year we submitted our permits well into November.

I do think we need to have a meeting at some point but a meeting during the week with only a 7 days notice is going to be tough for many people. Your thoughts?

Joe,

No, it is not new.  Fish & Game looks at how many tournaments we had for the year, and then sends me that many applications.  I was thinking they had to be in by October 30th as in the past before the new way they do it in the computer.  We actually used to have to camp out there at Fish & Game to get first in line!!  :)   I just read the letter through and they accept them between October 1 thru December 1.  We don't really need to meet this soon based on what I just read.  We can reschedule for the following week.  I don't want to wait to long though, because we need Federation dues discussed and turned in too.

Sorry Ryan, I didn't mean to not be accomodating.  I was thinking we needed to have the permit applications in by the end of the month, so I was trying to be proactive.  We also got an email from Duffy saying the rosters were due for the November meeting.  Didn't mean to upset you, just trying not to wait to the last minute.

No problem Reg, yea the rosters being due in November was also in the meeting minutes I sent out.  The federation would like to have them pretty firmed by then if possible.
