OK, this is it!! We are moving the Big Island Pond tournament to Winnisquam. I have the permit in hand, so it is official and final. I am sorry for all the confusion, but we have no control over Mother Nature. All of the draw down lakes we checked are just way too low this year. We will be launching out of the State Ramp aross the river from Martel's. The ramp only allows us to park 15 trailers, so the overflow will park at Martel's on Winnisquam Ave. across the river. We will have to charge a $5.00 facilities fee per boat to cover the cost of the overflow parking. The fees are as follows:
Membership Fee: $30.00 One time fee per year
Tournament Fee: $40.00 includes split lunker
Facilities Fee: $5.00 per boat
In addition, the club officers have decided to schedule the Newfound Lake tournament as an open now since we have had so much trouble with the scheduling of this one. We also have a conflict with the Bass Federation Open and want to give some of those people the opportunity of fishing another Open with Bubba Bassin. I hope we still have a good turnout in spite of all the confusion. Let's have some fun and get this season started!!!
